Pricing
Website Care Team pricing reflects responsibility assumed, not tasks performed.
Websites don’t usually fail because of one bad decision. They fail because responsibility is unclear, updates drift, backups are assumed, and small exposures compound over time.
Our pricing exists to make ownership explicit.
This pricing is based on the operating model described on the How It Works page, where responsibility is defined as an ongoing system rather than a set of tasks.
How Engagements Work
Every Website Care Team engagement has two components:
1. Initial Website Stabilization (Required)
A one-time process that brings the site into a known, supportable state.
2. Ongoing Website Care (Annual)
An ongoing responsibility relationship where Website Care Team owns the operational health of the site going forward.
No stabilization → no ongoing care.
Initial Website Stabilization
Required · One Time
$567
Initial Stabilization removes uncertainty and establishes a clear operational baseline before ongoing care begins.
Includes
Migration into Website Care Team’s managed WordPress hosting environment
Hosting and environment normalization
Plugin and theme audit
Baseline security configuration
Update risk review
Backup configuration and verification
Documentation of baseline site state
This step ensures the site is safe to operate and that responsibility boundaries are clear before care begins.
Ongoing Website Care Tiers
All care tiers are billed annually and prepaid.
Monthly figures are shown for reference only. Billing is annual and prepaid.
All care tiers assume the site is hosted and managed on WordPress within Website Care Team’s controlled hosting environment.
Tier 1 — Baseline Care
$1,668 / year
(~$139 / month for reference)
Responsibility posture: Maintain stability and accuracy. React to confirmed issues.
Includes
-
- Managed WordPress hosting (provided by Website Care Team)
- Automated uptime monitoring
- Daily security scanning
- Backup success verification
- Scheduled WordPress core and plugin update cycles
- Restoration of site functionality when failures are confirmed
Intervention occurs when
-
- Uptime failure is confirmed
- A security event is flagged
- Backups fail
- Updates exceed defined policy windows
This tier assumes the website should remain stable and accurate, not actively optimized.
Tier 2 — Operational Care
$2,388 / year
(~$199 / month for reference)
Responsibility posture: Act before issues become failures.
Includes everything in Baseline Care, plus
-
- Increased uptime polling frequency
- Performance trend monitoring
- Proactive update risk review
- Human review of security and performance signals
Intervention occurs when
-
- Performance degrades beyond baseline norms
- Security risk is identified but not yet exploited
- Update conflicts are likely
- Environmental drift is detected
Website Care Team identifies risk, proposes corrective action, and implements low-risk mitigation. Structural or strategic changes are approved before execution.
This tier assumes the website is operationally important, not merely present.
Tier 3 — Mission-Critical Care
$3,588 / year
(~$299 / month for reference)
Responsibility posture: Prevent impact to revenue, reputation, or operations.
Includes everything in Operational Care, plus
-
- Near-real-time uptime monitoring
- Tighter performance thresholds
- Heightened security sensitivity
- Deeper review of environmental and traffic anomalies
Intervention occurs when
-
- Early indicators suggest potential outage
- Abnormal behavior is detected
- Upstream dependencies change
- Risk is plausible, not proven
Website Care Team may intervene immediately to stabilize the site. Clients are informed during or after stabilization, not consulted in advance.
This tier assumes failure is unacceptable, not merely inconvenient.
Compliance & Accessibility Add-Ons
(Applied when required)
These items are not included in any care tier and are scoped independently.
Required Legal & Accessibility Baselines
Some websites are evaluated not just on performance or security, but on whether they meet baseline business and compliance expectations.
For public-facing business websites—especially those working with banks, insurance carriers, government agencies, or institutional partners—privacy policies and accessibility support are no longer “nice to have.” They are commonly treated as table-stakes requirements during vendor review, onboarding, and due-diligence processes.
These items clarify responsibility, protect users, and reduce avoidable legal and credibility risk. Their absence does not usually cause immediate failure—but it does create friction, questions, and delays when scrutiny occurs.
When required, Website Care Team implements and maintains these elements as part of ongoing operational responsibility.
Privacy & Legal Policies (Termageddon)
$119 / year license (pass-through)
$389 one-time setup
Covers installation, routing, configuration, and ongoing operational responsibility for legally maintained privacy and policy disclosures.
Website Accessibility (accessiBe)
$490 / year license (pass-through)
$389 one-time setup
Covers installation, configuration, verification, and ongoing operational responsibility for website accessibility support.
When both are implemented together, setup fees may be combined to $767 one time.
Explicit Exclusions (All Tiers)
Unless explicitly re-scoped, Website Care Team does not include:
Ecommerce or membership platforms
Very large or highly dynamic sites
Marketing execution or campaigns
Content creation
Design or feature development
If responsibility materially increases, pricing must change.
A Clear Choice
Websites are either owned or they decay.
The Health Check shows what is exposed today.
Website Care Team pricing defines what it costs to have that exposure reduced and owned going forward.
If this category of work matters to your business, it should be handled deliberately.
